Jello Cake

This was a dessert we had often growing up.  It was always picked for one of our birthdays (there are 9 of us so birthdays came around quite often) and then several times in the summer.  It is such a cool and refreshing cake, not to mention very easy to make.  Hope you try it.  BTW Happy Birthday Brad!

1 white cake mix
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. water
1/3 c. oil
1 small box jello
1 small box vanilla instant pudding
1 small container cool whip

*  Make cake according to package directions, except cook in 10x15 sheet pan, for about 18-22 or until cake springs back lightly in the center.  While cake is cooking make jello.  After you add cold water let cool until cake is done.  When cake is done, let cool 5 minutes and then poke all over with fork and I mean all over.  Pour jello all over cake, covering entirely.  Refrigerate until ready to serve, at least 3 hours.

*  When ready to serve, make vanilla pudding and let set up for 5 minutes.  Fold cool whip and pudding together, combining completely.  Spread on cake and serve.
