Steak Kabobs with Avocado Sauce

Yummy!!!  I made kabobs the other night and served them with this fabulous sauce that I found here.  The flavor was so perfect with the meat and even the vegetables that this is definitely a keeper at our house.  We loved it!

Steak Marinade:
5 T. extra virgin olive oil
1 T. garlic, minced
1 T. granulated onion
1 1/2 t. dried oregano
1 t. pepper
1/2 t. kosher salt
3 lb. sirloin steak
Avocado Sauce:
1 medium avocado, ripe, seeded, peeled, coarsely chopped
1/2 c. English cucumber, coarsely chopped
1/4 c. cilantro
1/4 c. sour cream
2 T. lime juice
1 T. water
1 t. kosher salt
1 t. cumin

*  In large ziploc bag, mix oil, garlic, onion, oregano, pepper and salt.  Cut steak into 1-inch cubes and place in oil mixture.  Let sit for 30 minutes (I put mine in the fridge for several hours).  After done marinading, thread onto skewers with your veggies and grill 12-15 minutes for medium well, turning as necessary.

* While cooking, for avocado sauce, in your food processor combine avocado, cucumber, cilantro, sour cream, lime juice, water, salt, and cumin.  Cover and process until smooth, stopping and scraping sides as necessary.  Transfer to serving bowl and serve with steak skewers.
