Wow, these were rich! We had to eat them in small portions because it was so sweet and yummy, but totally worth it. Sorry for the picture, I had them cut all pretty and then the kids came and ruined what little artistic creativity I had in arranging them. Oh well, I guess you will just have to try them :). 1 box devils food cake mix
1 egg
1/2 c. butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
10 regular size reese's peanut butter cups, chopped coarsely
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 T. heavy cream
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray. In medium bowl mix cake mix, egg and butter until well combined and press into baking dish.
2. With electric mixer combine cream cheese and sugar in small bowl until smooth. Stir in egg, mix well. Stir in peanut butter cups. Pour over cake layer and bake 25-35 minutes or until cheesecake layer is cooked through. Remove and let cool completely.
3. Melt chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until chocolate is melted completely. Stir in cream and whisk until glossy and smooth. Spread over cheesecake layer. Let set. When ready cute into squares and serve.
