Fajita Pizza

We are getting a little bored with our pizzas (you know the standard cheese and pepperoni) so we branched out and tried this yummy recipe.  I found the basic directions on blog chef and then adjusted it to our liking.

1 recipe pizza dough
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
1 t. chili powder
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. garlic powder
1 c. onion, sliced thinly
1 c. red bell pepper, sliced thinly
1 c. salsa
2 c. mozzarella cheese
1 c. cheddar cheese

* Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Make pizza dough and let rise.  In frying pan, add small amount of olive oil and cook chicken.  Add chili powder, salt, garlic powder, onion and bell peppers to chicken and cook until vegetables are crispy tender, about 1 minute more.

* Roll out pizza dough on your pan.  Spread salsa on your dough.  Then cover with mozzarella cheese.  Add chicken, vegetable mixture and top with cheddar cheese.  Bake for 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
